The hexafoil and the ‘flower of life’ grow from the vesica piscis. Due to the slow migration of the vernal equinox, it is still located in the constellation of Pisces. Perhaps the cosmic clockwork is also based on images.

Twelve monks form a circle – in their midst springs forth the light. Like a blossom of the spirit, clear and pure. They pass through twelve gates – the hours are the arches of the cathedral of time.

Elements under pressure arrange themselves into a new structure; they crystallise. In ancient times, it was thought that crystals were the result of extreme cold, which prevented these elements from melting like ice.

Five segments form the center. The second ring fills twice as many fields, for a total of 15. In the third round, four fields are filled on each side; five times four equals 20. The outer edge comprises 25 fields, for a total of 60.

We found this mosaic in an old ruin on the Ouroboros Delta, on the threshold of a stately villa. It was surely a symbol of good fortune that bestowed an enchanting blessing on those who entered.

From within, a head, a belly, and little legs emerge. The second shell transforms our figurine into a matryoshka doll. The hours form the cradle of time, which is constantly being reborn.

We found this glyph at the Ouroboros Delta. It symbolizes an ancient folk belief: God lets his ideas flow into the world in a first arc, whereupon they rise again to renew themselves and draw further circles.
